I guess it is all in how you look at things.....

I texted my daughter Nikki this morning, saying, "Hey look we got dumped on last night" and sent her this pic...
Then she text me back and said, "NO mom, WE got Dumped on last night" and she sent me this...
And I said, "Gee you are right honey, I guess it could be worse"! To which she replied, "Worse, you mean better right mom? Gosh this is the most raddest (translation...best, most awesome)powder ever"?? Which makes me say, I guess it is all in how you look at it, and, I now know my daughter is living exactly where she is supposed to be!!!

That is a lot of snow in both places. Your daughter love to ski I take it. When we lived in the mtns. in Ore. my children loved it when we had snow like that. I guess you are right, it's all how you look at it. Hugs, Marty

Wow! I thought you got a lot, then I looked at your daughter's picture. Holy cow, they mentioned the "s" word on the weather today and they've already cancelled or delayed school here and the grocery store is a MADHOUSE! If we get anything at all, it will be a "dusting" and it will melt by 9 am. And to be honest, that's too much for me! It really is pretty . . in pictures. . at someone elses house haha! Great post. Hi there, I cannot remember what I thought of those muffins, they were probablly average as far as muffins go since I cannot really remember. Here is a recipe though, that I thought was over the top delicious:

Yup--we got dumped on, and it is COLD!! It is beautiful though. If you have an email address, I could tell you now to make the runner or the wall-hanging. I also have some web-sites for free quilting patterns, etc. Just email me, and we will go from there. Have a great day. Julie

Oh good I'm so glad! It is a keeper for our family. The list looks like a lot, but really some of those items are a one-time event, so out of a whole month it's not so much. Plus, 5 out of the 6 children are in school during the week. =)

Sue, thanks so much for stopping by my desert oasis. I do really enjoy the yard. It just gets so hot here that things will look a little stressed by August, and then Sept. it will totally fry, but for the rest of the year things look fairly good. You will love Sedona and the Grand Canyon is just gorgeous. I'm sure it will be a fabulous trip. I hope you're not going during the very hot part of the summer. It won't be that hot in Sedona and at the Grand Canyon, but in Phx. it will be 110 to 120 for a good part of 3 months. Thanks again for the visit, and have a fun trip. I look forward to hearing from you again. Hugs, Marty
